SUGGESTION THERAPY OR RELAXATION THERAPY
It can:
Modern hypnotherapy is a million miles away from the ‘swinging watch’ stereotypes of old TV and films… it’s a real, psychological tool that works!
An added benefit of suggestion therapy is that you’ll learn some very good relaxation techniques that you take away with you and use in every-day life.
HYPNOANALYSIS OR ANALYTICAL HYPNOTHERAPY
Analytical Hypnotherapy, or Hypnoanalysis, are used to treat the cause of problems
Hypnoanalysis, or Analytical hypnotherapy, seeks to find the root cause of a problem. When you find that root cause, the symptoms can disappear, and the change is lasting and for good.
Cause and effect
Hypnoanalysis, or Analytical hypnotherapy, works on the basis that every symptom has a cause, just in the same way that the term ’cause-and-effect’ works in other areas of life.
Where the two different types of hypnotherapy that we use differ so greatly, is the way in which they seek to help to deal with the problem.
While suggestion hypnotherapy works on the symptom, seeking to relieve the symptom for a while, analytical hypnotherapy looks at the root cause of the problem.
Underlying Anxiety
It is widely accepted that symptoms like panic attacks, phobias and social anxiety for example, are all different symptoms caused by an ‘underlying’ anxiety.
The symptoms differ simply because we all handle situations differently, and so one ‘underlying’ anxiety might cause one set of symptoms in one person, and a completely different set of symptoms in another person.
One of the biggest benefits of analytical hypnotherapy, is that once the ‘underlying’ anxiety or the ’cause’ is reduced, all of the associated symptoms, the ‘effects’, can reduce accordingly.
This means that hypnoanalysis can often help a far wider range of issues than the person having the hypnotherapy expected!
Hypoanalysis or Analytical Hypnotherapy is a course of therapy.
This is not a ‘passive’ therapy… it’s a very involved process, can be very absorbing and incredibly interesting. You could learn more about yourself, and the way you think, than you ever thought possible. In short it can be very rewarding and the gains can be immense.
However, make no mistake, this form of hypnosis is not a quick-fix. It takes a certain amount of commitment in terms of:
What do the Medics Say
Hypnosis isn’t new. It is one of the oldest ways of healing used by man and has been documented right back in the time of the Pharaohs of Egypt.
In more recent times, the British Medical Association endorsed the practice of hypnosis in 1955. It is now included in medical school education and many GPs now use and practice hypnosis.
Moving to even more recent times, the deputy secretary of the BMA, M. J. Lowe, declared that “Hypnotherapy and counselling may be considered orthodox treatments” rather than forms of complementary or alternative medicine. This was in the year 2000.
So you see, Hypnotherapy is an accepted alternative therapy that has stood the test of time.
